I was born in Freiburg, Germany, in 1966.
There I learnt classical piano, trumpet and music theory. In addition to my actual profession as a piano maker, my heart has always beaten for music and the creation of music, so that I soon focussed entirely on composing and producing music. Getting to know the producer Ulrich Gitschier played an important role in this, as it was during this time that my first CD ‘I-Ging-Symphonie’ was created with U. Gitschier as producer. Through him, I also got to know another artist to whom I dedicated a large part of my artistic work from then on. The Dutchman Lex van Someren. In over 25 years of collaboration, we have produced around 30 CDs and several DVDs. In addition to working for him and other artists, I also compose and produce CDs under my own name from time to time. Mainly instrumental music, somewhere between world, new age, jazz and film music.
